Of course in America, the politicians have gerrymandered almost every seat to hell, and the courts have made certain that there are absolutely no restrictions on campaign finance……meaning it’s rigged so that there’s only ever going to be two parties to (realistically) vote for.

And when they both zoom off to the opposite ends of the political spectrum, it leaves many people with absolutely no options other than ‘this guy is very slightly less terrible than that guy’.

No American should ever lecture anyone from anywhere on democracy because we (I am a US citizen so I can say that) barely have one.

I can speak a bit of Thai. I can also speak some Isaan language too. I love and respect the culture, and enjoy the food, albeit a little spicy. Love the Thai music, and way of life. I will live like a king.

My partner is from Sakon Nakhon north east of Thailand, me and her family communicate very well.

I will be selling my 2 houses, and 3 cars, and will live there, and enjoy the remainder of my life.

Wonderful country that I’m lucky to visit 3 x per year. Soon it will be my home.
