Anyone out there managed to pre order one of those. Everywhere seems to have sold out. Currys/PC World, Amazon, and Game.

I won’t do EBay, I never trust a seller when something new comes out. I’d rather buy from an established store, and pay £449.

If you have got one, and want to do a FIFA league let me know, and I’ll join eventually.

I managed to pre-order a PS5 from Argos in the early hours and just pre-ordered an XBox series S. Happy days.

Don't play Fifa. However, if anyone wants to play Battlefield - BF1 is part of the PlayStation Plus Collection at launch - let me know. Or any T/FPS for that matter. ?

Jeez. The Xbox series x was released this morning, and sold out everywhere within 5 minutes. People are buying with no interest in the console, and flogging it on eBay for an extortionate amount of money. Stopping genuine gamers from purchasing.

Glad you got one though, but I want the PS5. £449 is a lot of money, but it will last me a while. I’ve pre ordered a spare controller, and Assassins Creed, and pre ordered Far Cry 6.

Yeap I preordered the Ps5 and all accessories from Amazon. Haven't been 'in the game' since PS3 so welcome any suggestions of games to get.

Scalpers. ?

A lot of money, but for what's in the box, it's actually represents excellent value for money, and as it should last 5/6+ years, it's a good long-term investment.

The PS5 will be my primary console as I love Sony's exclusives. I'm quietly hoping for a PS5 version of TLoU II with factions at launch. TLoU MP was so satisfying.

Demon’s Souls is one of my favourite games of all-time; I'm jealous of anyone that gets to experience it for the first time in 4K.

Good luck!

Will be xbox series x for me, especially with MS purchasing Bethesda in the week. I go where the best RPGs go, and that is Elder Scrolls.

What kind of games do you enjoy?

There are a number of PS4 games that are well worth playing as well, many of which are very cheap now.

Incredible acquisition by MS, but most Bethesda games will still be available on the PlayStation, whereas RPGs like Demon's Souls and Horizon won't be available on the XBox, for example.

Speaking of Bethesda, I want Fallout New Vegas II. ?

Yeah I basically just play Gran Turismo all day long so I have ordered GT Sport. I will play COD and other FPS's as well as typical football games.

I have a 7 year old this time around so I will be getting him Harry Potter and the Little Big Planet game I had a bit of fun with on PS3.

Uncharted is also on the list and I liked the Assassins Creed games but I see the latest seems to play a bit different, with building bases and what not, so I'm unsure on that.

Really not sure what the deal will be going forwards, will be interesting for sure. I know a few games will be on PS5, and I expect some will show up on Switch as well, but long term? Lot of money to pay if you are going to release on all hardware. I'm more interested in Cyberpunk 2077 than anything else imminent at the moment, if I can ever tear myself away from No Man's Sky that is...

Exclusives are the bane of the medium, but I guess it keeps the fanboys entertained...

I’m surprised Rockstar Games aren’t bringing out a new Grand Theft Auto.

The should do a remake of Vice City, but add many more missions. When they created San Andreas, they hit the Jackpot. For me it was perfect storyline, plenty of missions, loved the San Fierro look of San Francisco, and Vegas desert, and casino strip in Las Ventura’s. Brilliant games!

Which PS4 games should I get to play on the PS5?

Looking at Last of us part 2 and Horizon the latter in particular because the sequel is going to be a blockbuster on PS5.

I’ve heard there is going to be a Grand Theft Auto 6. Including Vice city, Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Ventura’s. All from San Andreas, and Liberty City will also be involved, as well as a fictitious place which is really Rio De Janeiro.

That was all confirmed by Leslie Benzies, and Dan Houser from Rockstar Games. It’s taking longer to come to fruition, because they’ve put a lot of time and energy in to Red Dead Redemption apparently.

Sounds Good!

First of all you need to be lucky to pre order a PS5. Unless your playing the waiting game.

It seems that all the scalpers got in first, so they can flog the console for a huge profit. There not interested in the computer, and just preventing gamers from purchasing. I hope they can’t sell them, so then they are stuck with something they don’t want. Some of the prices on EBay are ridiculous.

Stay away from Fifa 21. I’ve heard it’s s**t.

People are saying this long delayed Cyberpunk 2077 game is going to be game of the year (since the Last of Us 2 was roundly panned).

I have a go on Gran Turismo every now and again and that's always a good stress buster - haven't played CoD since about 2014 but might give that one a go this year.

Not lucky I got up before 9am and ordered from Amazon.

Looks like the Dualsense controller is going to be game changing!
Very excited and I am close to buying a new game every time I watch a new gameplay trailer.

Game changing in what way? They have basically created the 360 gamrpad. Haptic feedback is overrated.

It's very highly rated but I wont know if it is overrated until I feel it myself.

Adaptive triggers and haptic feedback apparently making you feel rain drops, driving through different surfaces and pulling different strength items.

Opens options like feeling guns jamming or tyres slipping. It remains to be seen whether it is more immersive than a steering wheel on GT7... I will need a 4k 120hz TV when that arrives.
