Polish media reports that he's off to the MLS and is signing for Austin FC in Texas.
Have been really impressed with Emakhu since he returned to the squad.Maybe explains the hamstring injury, shall we miss him ? Stan is a far better player and Emakhu is doing well he could be really decent in league 1 for us.

Seems to me he either instinctively - or because he's been told to - attacks his full back a bit more and tries to get to the byline.
Was also first over to applaud the fans on Saturday which, given he's had a bit of a bumpy start, speaks volumes to his character.
If he can maintain a that form in L1 and we manage to keep Stan on the other side, they'll be exciting to watch next season.

I definitely think him being further up the pitch (rather than typically receiving the ball under-pressure in his own half, often with his back to goal) was a key factor. He came on when we were chasing results in recent games or generally looking to attack more in the case of the Owls. Certainly green shoots from his appearances of late and look forward to seeing what he can do in League One.Fresh start for him next season at a level he probably is better suited to at the moment, with us likely to have more of the ball and be further forward more it’s a good chance for him to develop. Hopefully this little run at the end of the season has given him a boost and he can hit the ground running.
He's not really what we need now, a luxury player who could rip it up (sometimes) when he wanted to. Good luck to him - he always tried hard and gave us some moments.
Haha I kind of went into the whole Placheta thing with a mindset of "ok well we can't afford a reliable, strong, quick winger on Championship money so let's get a few mercurial ones".I don't think he was ever what we needed. We needed a reliable winger who could beat a man and get the ball into the box, instead we got a one-footed show-pony with the composure of a rabbit in headlights. Good luck to him - he always tried hard and gave us some moments - and that hair must come with a high-maintenance cost.
Along with Dembele a prime example, I confidently assert with no inside information, of what you get when you do lazy, internet-based recruitment.
Its all pasteurised there...unpasteurised is much tastier...Not sure the cheese is up to much in the US. Nothing pasteurised for a start.
I’ve nothing against the bloke and he has produced a handful of great moments in the past two seasons, but I’m happy to wave him goodbye. No consistency, no football brain, can’t defend and seemingly injured 50% of the time.Maybe explains the hamstring injury, shall we miss him ? Stan is a far better player and Emakhu is doing well he could be really decent in league 1 for us.
Not disagreeing with you, but in all my years I can't remember ever seeing a really consistent winger. After 2 seasons of coaching he shows no change in how he plays,,still can't make the right decision on what to do with the ball, good luck to him in the future, but the team needs a more consistent player.

It's the nature of the beast..

He did ok, and had his moments, including a couple of worldie strikes.- Free transfer.
- 41 starts and 16 subs.
- 10 'goal involvements' (4 assists, 6 goals - including some crucial winners/equalisers).
- Playing largely for a manager that didn't want to attack, or play with the ball, or allow their wingers much attacking discretion.
He'll go down as one of the more unfairly maligned players in our recent history, for my money. When he's actually been one of very few success stories from our recent recruitment.
Particularly ironic that people are pinning much of next season's hopes on other wingers at the club (that were signed for decent fees) that have thus far (whether through their own quality or lack of faith from the manager) offered absolutely nothing.
I'll certainly look back fondly.
In the future, when thinking back to this 2 year adventure in the championship, he will probably be the first player that comes to mind.
He epitomised our stay, moments of brilliance sprinkled into a heck of a lot of frustrating moments.
He’s left us with some great memories though
Joey ?
Joey ?
We loved him, but he was not entirely consistent.Joey ?
