so 51 points from 29 games to get to 80 as they’ve predicted.
doable?

So far we’ve played 7 at home and 10 away. We’ve been playing well at Grenoble Rd.

It's possible, but seems a bit unlikely, that you could get an automatic promotion place on 80 points.

Most years over the past decade, it's taken at least 90.

Only 27 games to play.

So far we are on 1.7 points per game. We had a bad start, but won't keep current form for the rest of the season.

With 1.7 points per remaining game, we would finish on 75 points.

Only 44 games this season.

Very true.
Still reckon it's more likely to take 85 to get to the automatics.

Last year, Sunderland got 85 points, and ended up 5th!

In amongst the footy pundit stuff on the wall at Summertown Ladbrokes was a prediction of us being runners up to Ipswich Town..........(if wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any by the way)........should I be tempted?
