It seems this year there is a lot of frustration on the football pitch

PSFs used to be a blend of playing teams with established links (Oxford City for us, Barnet for Arsenal etc) and a couple of bigger games to help clubs get a "dress rehearsal" of the operational side of things on and off the pitch before the season starts. Everyone knew the deal, no silly tackles, no taking the p**s.

Now, more and more PS games are being used to generate income or to present the clubs as being one of the bigger boys. And as a result, the old fashioned gentleman's agreement of playing hard but fair has gone and it won't be long before a player gets a serious injury in one of these games that ends up costing the club far more than the game itself generates.

They didn't like him in the 22/23 season nor did they like him at the start of last season. He turned it around and it shut the moaners up for a while but they will jump on him at any opportunity unfortunately.

I'd hope our fans wont do the same to Des this season and give him the full season but I am sure there will be a few who do.
