Also Port F.C, if Indonesia have figure like ET who very enthusiastic for build his club and his National Team, then Port F.C and Thailand have...more known in South East Asia as Madame Pang who also ET's friend.

Port FC could be tough opponent too for OUFC. But if they ready and could adapt with their new Head Coach. They just appoint Alexandre Gama ( Brazil ) as new head coach for 2025/2026.

Anyone know how we rank against the other sides?
Opta has the following global ranks:

Oxford - 269
Persib - 1638
Port - 1720
Dewa - 1989
Arema - 3313

No idea how reliable but think it’s safe to say we’ll have by far the best players, but be much less used to the conditions.

Also to prepare, local fans fanaticism when support their team.

And this is very important....hot weather. Jakarta is very hot for European football players, average 32°C. While Bandung more cool because near Mountain, average 24°C.

Does prize money count towards turnover for FFP purposes?

If so, this seems a cracking way to circumnavigate the rules slightly.

Enter a tournament backed by one of your owners that you should win fairy comfortably and bag £250K for the transfer kitty!
Didn't Scotchegg suggest that with appearance money it was worth £0.5m?

Yes. With prize money and a share of ticket sales, sponsorship and tv deals, we would be looking at nearer to half a million.

And this isn't just a one off. Wrexham have become an unofficial team of many Americans off the back of their tours and media presence. Adding a few million Indonesians to our social media platforms alone would likely bring in more revenue over a season than our traditional preseason friendly games make. This is before looking at opening up wider TV deals, sponsorship or merchandise.

I know that some fans are more than a little sceptical about some of our Indonesian links, but with such limited revenue streams due to our stadium situation, any extra income could make a real difference.

Circumnavigate the globe to circumnavigate FFP. Sounds about right.

So could we consider hypothetically winning this trophy equal to winning something like the Intertoto Cup?
