West Brom is not an easy job to take on as the fans there expect a return to the PremHe flopped at his last job at West Brom and is over 60 with a background of serious illness. Would he be interested and totally focused?
Well with the years of experience that the whole of the management seem to have as their mantra regarding anything…not a chanceYou would have hoped the club would have seen this as a possibility and would have done ground work prior to the sacking
Taking one point from the Swansea, Blackburn, PNE and Charlton matches really was extremely dismal ....next four fixtures extremely tough with the pressure to beat Swansea on so much now.
Obviously a win today would be amazing but those results/ performances were shocking and leaves us with a very real chance of being adrift needing snookers !!
If it’s anything like our poll and suggestions on here it will be just like opening Guess Who on Boxing Day.Clues will be the in the out of work managers watching the game from SSU today.
I'm pretty sure we've been exploring options for months. There will still be interviews to do but we won't have gone into this blind and we can't afford to spend too long getting the new man in or we risk being cut adrift.I would be amazed if the club wasn’t exploring options before they sacked him. However….
It was said at one time that the recruitment team always has a list of players for each position as well as a list of potential head coaches.I'm pretty sure we've been exploring options for months. Agree but I would go further. The moronic argument from EC Yellow seems to be that just because our club (under completely different owners) made bad decisions to support players with serious criminal records that we should carry on making bad decisions under a new owner and board by considering a known racist as a manager. Unbelievable!False equivalence. Terry isn't (as far as we know) a criminal who has served his time and repaid his debt to society (or was about to, in Chapman's case). We're taking about some bloke who has been found guilty of using racist language and who also has a string of other dodgy accusations against him. I wouldn't touch him with a shitty bargepole
Well that's all very well, but there are two sides to every transaction. Just because the club might have a list of potential replacements doesn't mean that those on the list are going to just turn up ready to go. Like with all the transfer window threads, this is much more complicated than Football Manager or whateverIt was said at one time that the recruitment team always has a list of players for each position as well as a list of potential head coaches.
So yes, the club should be now be well along the way to having their person.

Let's hope soWell of course it is
But I would suspect that for a couple of weeks ( at least), the club will have been sounding out potential replacements.
GR came in pretty quickly after Des went and personally I would be surprised if somebody isn't announced in the next week or so.
What a massive coincidence?!Robinson not managing Salford today
Could it be an O Dowda esc sickness
It seems I’m wrong. He was spoken to but it’s not Warnock.I think it could well be Warnock until the end of the season.
#ShortInHappy to see Short continue against Swansea if the new appointment isn't ready, but realistically would need to do a ridiculous amount to be first choice going forward.

If it is Terry then we should be better at set pieces. Please for the love of god stop the zonal marking!
Would be respected straight away despite not having and manager experinece.
Still a big big risk.
Footballer’s will have a natural respect from day 1 for a player who has achieved as much as Terry has in the game.Respected for what, in a manager capacity ?
