I've warned before about bookies odds but I really don't like the move here. I worry that Thohir doesn't like what he's been offered and will go rogue for a "big name" like he did with Kluivert and Inonesia.

Some Scummers having a laugh I reckon. It would be done in return.

Anyway I wouldn't worry as Craig Short is interim Head Coach until June.

Now we know its Short till the end of the season be interesting to see who he brings in as an assistant or if he just has to carry on with who he has, couple of coaches down with Rowett and the other fella gone.

I understand your concerns, but don’t forget Craig’s brother Chris is in the building somewhere, plus the steadying hand Faz.

All is well.

Plus saying he didn't want to be the Head Coach-think people are just jumping on the "Man U Look" thing and certainly doesn't align with new voice/new ideas bit. The interim is however usually added to the list because of the possible long pause in recruitment.

Man Utd are only delaying it because they probably want someone involved in the WC, but Oxford ? There would be no logical reason at all to hold off until the summer.

Thankfully I’d imagine it’s compete b*****s but you are right.

Club come out and denied it yet? Who is the manager at the moment? Who will be manager Friday?

With this out in the opens spreading like wildfire the club would deny it if it wasn’t true.

Out in the open? You mean on a unassociated unofficial forum.

I’ve heard & seen crazier things happen but I doubt it.

He's also worked closely with the vast majority of the squad.

The more I think about it, the more I like it. We really need someone to hit the ground running and Short is probably best placed to do so.
He’s a nice bloke but he’s even said he’s no manager.
