Mauricio Pochettino sacked by Tottenham
Pochettino dismissed by Tottenham after dismal start to the new season; Jose Mourinho appointed his replacement; Jamie Carragher describes sacking as out of order
Must of fallen out with Levy big time, they have had a bad start in the league but they are unlikely to get a better manager than him.

Madness. Nobody would’ve achieved more than him in the same circumstances. If they’ve paid money to shove him out when until a few months ago they could’ve essentially sold him for millions something is going on.

Pochettino looked a broken man this season unable to motivate the team and no idea how to get out of the situation. Not surprising he's gone but the appointment is a strange one.

One thing under pochettino was spurs played a fast flowing attacking game and he brought through the youngsters
Mourinho when in charge of anyone prefers the more defensive approach and rarely plays the kids and let's not forget likes to spend alot

Not sure that's a brilliant move by Spurs. Seemingly Pochettino was starved of funds to improve the team and still managed to get them to the final of the Champions League. I'm sure Mourinho will want the purse strings loosened - why not do the same for the current manager? Personally I am very tired of Mourinho and his silly antics, pouting press conferences and arrogance: I hoped we'd seen the last of him.

Spend, spend, spend. Don't know if that will work though.
Given that Pochettino had a net spend of less than £100m in 5 years (by restriction not choice) I can't see Mourinho fitting to that, he's a spend to fix manager.
Morinho spotted on his way to his new job in North London, or a not very good attempt using photoshop? ( maybe shouldve got tory central office to manipulate the image?)

Under him, they've put together four consecutive Top 4 finishes.....whereas they had two Top 4 finishes in the previous 25 years!
Yes, they've had a poor start to this season - but I don't think you throw away five years of excellent work because of two bad months.
And the Mourinho signing compounds things. Yes, he's got an outstanding record, but returns have diminished over the last couple of jobs. And he's not exactly renowned for playing exciting football on a budget.

We will see but he seems to have lost his touch recently?
To be fair, they've not won an away game in the league since January. They've not been great in the league all calendar year. It's more than two bad months.
