What all of the above fails to take into account is that Harris has 4 goals and will absolutely be POTM this time round.

Another visualisation I've been working on is locations for Goals and Assists. Current data has it looking like this...
What immediately stands out is the lack of anything coming from our left. Of course Harris' goal v Norwich did come from a ball down the left channel, but I'm only storing where the shot was taken to, so that goal is the '1' just above and to the left of the penalty spot.

Your graphic hasn't taken consideration of Brannagan's goal v Stoke, where he pings it from our own half to catch their keeper off his line.

I have background zones in the database ready for goals from just inside our half. As long as Cumming doesn't fire one in direct from a goal kick I should be OK...
