The problem is most were people who live in Britain and are returning home from funerals and so fourth but yes Boris should have stopped all flights l, at least our dear Layla Moran could start a few letters in the OM complaining how we’ve stopped people returning home to their legal homes and their loved ones irrespective of this new variant from India.

Well he hasn’t covered himself in to much glory but got Brexit done and he has got the vaccination programme well under way one of the best in the world certainly the best in Europe but yes he should have shut the borders and stoped incoming from the subcontinent at least a month earlier which may have prevented the Indian variant coming here, which could lead to more local lockdowns.
The government should bar travel from this country to the subcontinent irrespective of what the reason so as to not have them return possibly with the new variant.
