We have THE best local radio coverage.

Had the radio on from 7am yesterday and had relevant songs, live interviews from travelling supporters, train updates etc.

Got back home around 2130 and they were STILL providing coverage. Mrs NSB said the presenter had got home and went back into the studio to carry on.

RadOx - that was the best coverage EVER!

Thank you!

Yes the team at Radio Oxford have been quality for many years and thoroughly deserve to be rewarded with the successful moments like yesterday.

BBC local services have been seriously reduced so to maintain their sports coverage and enthusiasm for Oxford United throughout most of their programming should be applauded.

I have always considered them to be operating at a level above OUFC which is demonstrated by, one of our own, Robyn Cowan being unable to join us yesterday because she was working.

We are very lucky to have BBC radio Oxford sports team.

And such a contrast to the Oxford Fail who have just jumped on the back of our success, hypocrites.

Anyone know how I can get the full match commentary?

Due to a wedding on the Friday before in Rhodes, Radio Oxford was my only outlet at the Departure Gate while waiting to fly back to France. I must confess to scaring several fellow passengers when the first goal went in!

Well done, Radio Oxford - I loved Nick Harris reminding us all that just 12 months before, we were facing possible relegation to Division Four rather than being one league away from the Premiership!

Just listening to Wasn't at the Game.
Fantastic memories and emotional!
I’ve just done the same. Listening to Jerome and Rosie crying nearly set me off again!
All seemed a blur at Wembley so great to listen to Rad Ox as a reminder.
We’re so lucky to have them.

Me too, and it did set me off again.

I think this is the most emotional I've ever been, about anything, and for such a sustained period of time. Such a bag of emotions. I'm joyous. I'm absolutely bursting with pride. I'm a tearful emotional wreck.

But I think one word sums it all up, redemption. We've now got redemption for all the bad times, bad people, bad things, that have crossed our paths in the last 25 years, since we were last a Championship club.

Jim, Joey, Micky, and all the other yellows that we've lost since then, that was for you.

100% your final paragraph.

Well said sir! 🙏🏻🤗

Jerome, Nathan, Nick & Rosie were incredible on Saturday.

The coverage was out of this world and we are so lucky to have people that care so passionately, covering our football club on local radio. All of the production team at BBC RadOx also deserve enormous credit for Saturday and the coverage of the parade.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the 3+ hours worth of post match coverage on Sunday and it certainly brought a tear to the eye.

How different two local news outlets can be is staggering.
