No, I said it was rubbish at the time and have been critical of it all season, I don't think you needed hindsight to see it.

Admittedly my view was partly shaped by hearing about it from people who were there but there was more than enough in the public domain to make the same decision. The games were watchable and you could see the conditions were atrocious for football, the opponents poor quality and seemed more concerned with kicking us which lead to us picking up some injuries and Rowett's demeanour was a giveaway too. I don't think you can look at it and think it was useful preparation for a Championship campaign where we need to be 100% to have a chance.

In an optional poll, for which only 129 members voted (suggesting there were plenty who weren't convinced either way and who rightly abstained) then any vote is obviously unequivocal. If it weren't, you'd just leave it, obviously.

Your understanding here is poor. To say something was a success is not to give it an unequivocal thumbs up. Those are different concepts. I voted it as a success because it kept the funder happy which was the whole point, but I had lots of criticisms of it overall. Those criticisms mean it is not "unequivocal"

TW confirmed at the last FF that we would not be doing a tour to Indonesia again this season at the very least.

The tour was not the sole factor we were relegated but anyone could see that it was not a great help in getting us prepared for the season ahead.
