Not sure what would have been the best result but 3-0 to Posh at the mo and Wycombe down to 10 men

still in 2nd though ?
It shows why the mini meltdown on here after a couple of bad results is crazy. It's such a tight league that 7 or 8 teams have looked like they're about to run away with it before slipping back into the pack. It feels like we're all still jostling for position ahead of a sprint finish in the last half a dozen games. And with the likes of Henry, Brannagan, Woodburn, Taylor to come back in, and Browne, Holland and Kelly to really find their feet, we should be in a good place to win that sprint.

The meltdown came because some got very carried away, we were in and remain in a promising position nothing more. those same people had some of our players go from worth millions to a few bob and others that helped us get to the position seemingly needing to be replaced.

The positive bunch are almost as much to blame as the negative Nigels, when we win a few games in a row they start predicting we will win every game 6-0 and will beat Man City, and then everyone gets carried away and therefore unreasonably down when we lose a few games. Personally as long as we stay in touch with the playoff positions towards the end of the season I’ll be happy enough, I’m confident in our ability to beat any team in this league over two legs, and then the final is a lottery...

Brentford are very keen on Toney and one of their new loanees is out for 6 months.
Keeping Toney will be key as to whether Peterborough are anywhere near at the end.
