He will no doubt be off loaded one way or the other but if he stays then we could much worse than Kioso as a back up right back in league 1.

As for wearing a Pompey shirt which he got off a mate for a gym session…meh. Couldn’t care less.

I think it's a bit tone deaf really. If it was a random side I probably wouldn't have minded as much, but it's a club we've played 27 times in the past 13 years and have been rivals both at the top of League One and the bottom of the Championship for the past few years. Them scoring an equaliser against us then fluking a winner the week later is a big part in why we're not in the Championship next season.

I don't expect loyalty from players who see playing for Oxford as mainly a job, but what I do expect is at least some care and consideration for the optics of how it looks when you're going out in public wearing a shirt from a direct competitor of your employers. And it's not like Kioso has any credit in the bank here, he signed on good money, did an average job for us in 24/25 and by all accounts was middling for Peterborough last season.

Spencer will have to be at his best to retain the RB starting position.

Must admit I was surprised at the substitution when it happened but PK definitely showed why it was the right move by AR. He played well.

Let's face it, nobody is going to be frozen out.

With the exception of those that choose to freeze themselves out, that is.
