PEP has Gone!

Wow..... A brave decision. Seems Eales was more likely pushed into it from the board.

Players/fans/management having it out in public will never end well.

A nice guy, but a few matches aside didn’t achieve what is possible with this squad. Too many low lights this season and lack of performance.

Look forward to another coach joining!

"The Board is focused on maintaining a challenge for promotion to the Championship and will make an announcement regarding a new Manager as soon as possible."

I mean, it's good to be optimistic, but surely you have to be realistic? It's our second season in League One and yes Pep's not been that great, but it's not like he was a million miles away.

Understatement of the year!!

With all due respect but it has been very clear performances have been getting worse throughout the season. Regretfully for Pep, and only Pep this was a very necessary decision.

Brave decision, only time will tell if its the right one.
Thanks nonetheless to Pep for his time here, not an easy period to go through and he seems like a thoroughly nice chap and good coach.
Anyway, onward!

You know what... Fair play to Eales and the board. He takes a lot of s**t and this was a very brave decision. Despite what some people say we weren't going to go down, but equally, we weren't going up. Would have been easy to see how it goes and deal with it at the end of the season.

Good luck to Pep. it wasn't quite right and some of the performances have been dreadful, but a nice guy and clearly an incredibly talented coach. Maybe some more learning to be done before he becomes a manager again.

We go again

So we need a proven manager ASAP. 9 days of the transfer window left for the new man to get 2-3 of his players in.
