Panini 25/26 EFL Sticker Collection

Yes! I had every intention of making it to the swap shop at the stadium on Saturday but my daughter’s football game in the morning overran so I arrived later than I’d hoped.

My preorder of a couple of boxes from the Panini site arrived so going to go through those this week then get my swaps together!

Hope everyone that went on Saturday got something they needed!
 
We did pop in to the swap shop, but hadn’t done our homework and didn’t really know our swaps/needs - so it wasn’t much use! Did get shown the panini app by someone though, that’s a pretty good way of tracking those things - and spent Sunday afternoon filling it in!

Lots of free packs being handed out as well…

I also learned about the app on Saturday! Felt positive ancient as a result. Albeit it does kind of take away the ‘got got need’ fun if an app does it all for you.

Although I have now put all of mine into the app and realised I have bloody FIVE Sean Clare stickers (not even sure I saw him play for us that many times). 3 swaps each of all of Birmingham’s Japanese players (Iwata, Furuhashi & Fujimoto), four Lewis Travis of Derby (who I must have seen play multiple times but can’t remember in the slightest).

And from an Oxford perspective (I started only really being interested in the Oxford stickers!) I’ve only got 9. For context the app tells me I’m 70+% complete on the whole thing. And I have a swap of every single one! If you need a Jamie Cumming or an Oxford shiny hit me up 🤣
 
I bought myself a box of 36, not opened them all yet. Found it easier to buy a box than hunt down local shops for a few packets, plus Panini offered a 10% discount and free P&P.

I’ve also downloaded the app but not found it too useful. It tells me I’ve completed 40% of the set and provides a list of my swaps, but I can’t easily see how to send that list to others, or post it on here, maybe I’m an IT muppet.

There is a share feature. If you go into the individual got/need/swap bits there there is an icon in the top-right (3 little circles with a few lines) - that opens the sharing sheet on your phone and you can choose what to do with it. Just sends a big text list!
 
The Panini App informs me I’m 85% done and need just 113 more. Although I have now reached the stage where I’ve got more swaps than I have stickers in the book. Must have 5 or 6 Sean Clare (and who ever else he is paired with). Pretty sure I’ve got his sticker more times than I can remember him playing well for us at this point.

From an Oxford perspective (and I convinced myself when I started I was just looking for Oxford!) I only need Leigh, the stadium, Shemmy and Sparky so going ok.

It’s at the point where I could just buy the last few for almost as much as a box. Trying to tell myself I’m going to get it down to less than 100 before I consider it though!

Co Op shops seem to stock them so try any of those you go past. Also Sainsburys do them.

My tip would be to buy 2 or 3 boxes from Panini if you really want to collect them all, otherwise just buying from shops will take forever and be a bit pointless for a full collection.

Im in my last 50 needed now and have bought 3 boxes online plus 1 and a half from the CoOp. Have also swapped around 130 with 4 members of this forum. Plus have sent off to Panini for 50 selected stickers i need at a cost of 23 quid.

The whole process was better in the 80s when you could swap with hundreds of people at school!

Second this. Grab a box or two whenever Panini’s online shop has them. Find a few swaps when you can. Here in Reading, Sainsbury’s and Tesco have been the spots I’ve found packs the most - and even then it’s the tins/9-pack boxes or those ‘sheet’ type packets with a selection of free ones on the back (generally always featuring Ciaron Brown or Filip Krastev). I don’t think I’ve seen a single shop selling individual packs!

I’m down to 80ish needed now and somewhat resigning myself to just buying the last ones I need from the Panini site!
 
One Stop shops generally sell them in individual packs, but you need to ask for them as they hide them under the counter at the till to avoid shoplifting.
 
We’ve got to 75% complete overall (according to the iffy app) and just 2 Oxford left to get!

Anyone got a spare Lankshear or Harris?
