There is a group called, Palermo Supporters UK. They were on X earlier today.Doubt many will travel, but there's thousands of Sicilians and their families based in the UK.
Mafioso?I've done some extensive pre-match research on our opponents (......OK, I went to their Wikipedia page) and I obviously had no idea of their somewhat chequered past. They are in Serie B now, but went out of business as recently as 2019, when a reconstituted version of the club then entered Serie D. Like a few clubs we know, they've had some seriously dubious owners who promised the world and inevitably didn't deliver.
I would imagine that in the Italian second division, they play in worse!
And the Luigi Ferraris/Marassi stadium. One of the best football stadia in the world in my book.I was curious and took a look.
In 2024-25, they will be playing everywhere from a 58,000 seater stadium in Bari, to the 3,500 Stadio dei Marmi in Carrara which looks like a big athletics track with about six rows of seats!
Kasstad will be on the smaller side of average for them, but not the smallest garden shed they'll play in next year!
Lotsa wise guys on this thread. Mebbe soma youse gonna wake up with a nag's head inna your bed or wearing concrete shoes at the bottom of the TW sewage plant?
Due to increased costs and necessary cutbacks, members of the 'family' have had to downgrade to boots made of plaster. They unfortunately don't have quite the same durability as concrete, but it does mean more offenders can be processed in quicker time (the quick-drying variety is preferred)With TW's maintenance standards then the water may just about creep over the top of the concrete shoes.
