Matches Palermo Friendly

With season ticket holder discount on top of concessionary rate, £5 each for the Loungers! Bargain. Table booked at F&B's for some fine dining pre-match and we're sorted.

Now, where did I put the violin cases . . . . . . . . .
Tongue in cheek I know but “fine dining and F&B’s in one sentence 😂)
Here’s hoping for a sunny Italian Saturday.

Got two tickets but navigation horrible - managed on tablet which is easier to suss out! Oh the stress if the basket timer.

Eventually managed to book two tickets, but the site is clunky as hell. I never got the season ticket holder discount and also haven't received the digital tickets by email. So now I'm going to have to ring the ticket office, somewhat defeating the object of having an online system..

Without sounding too much like Victor Meldrew, what is it with this bloody club when they can't even get the basics right!!!???

It wasn't obvious, but ST Adult was an option further below Adult, U18 etc - I didnt notice it at first, and was shocked when it said £20 for my ticket.

Yup, took me a couple of attempts to get it right. And then, circle of doom waiting for the checkout! Second try got through to the end.
And this is just pre-season. Still, wouldn't be OUFC without a glitch or two.

So, that's an 'improvement" that isn't an improvement at all! It used to do it automatically as it knew I was a season ticket holder by my log in.

Have you, and @Manorlounger received your digital tickets yet? As I haven't even had an acknowledgement email.

Email came through straight away. As said, the only delay was between selecting and paying. I got an error message, despite authorising the payment with banking app, and had to go back in again. Seats were still selected so it was on to payment which, this time, went through. Checked with my bank and only one payment was taken so, all good.

It didn't do it automatically last season for me during pre season friendlies against Swansea and QPR, had to scroll down and select Season ticket holder adult even though I was logged in.

You can see purchase history in your yellows account and resend the email with the tickets.

Weren't pre-season friendlies normally around a tenner unless playing an EPL side?
Ok I realise many of us on here will be ST holders so paying half price anyway.

Also some ****er has already taken my ST seat!

You can barely get into an exhibition in London these days for less than £20 but I'm an oldie so only £10.

According to the email from the club, we are playing Palmero. Twice they have written Palmero and three times Palermo.

Maybe they should employ a spell checker.

I had to call the ticket office too as the system wouldn’t move from the logging on bit e.g. user name/password. Password was correct by the way and had been changed since system had been updated.

The ticket office didn’t know what was wrong and asked if I had bought my ST’s through the system which I told them I had.

Anyway, in the end I got the tickets via ticket office.

Weirdly, I logged into the on-line ticketing system later in the day using same log-in details I had used earlier and managed to get into the system straightaway.

You did well to get through. I phoned four times with no luck and the last time, this afternoon, got a message saying they were closed!!!

Funny that, I called and spoke to Gemma this afternoon and she dealt with something straight away.
Is there anything, anything at all about this club that you like?
As I said, I phoned four times and couldn't get through. Are you calling me a liar?

As for your last sentence, don't be ridiculous. It is the very fact I love this club, and have done for well over half a century, that I feel the need to highlight those charged with running it who are ballsing things up. Is that alright, or should I just blindly lap up everything they do and say without question?

I don’t know you, or what you do for or at the club, but there isn’t half a lot of negativity posted. I guess it’s all worth it if it turns into something that leads to change for the better through this forum.
Just my observation, nothing ridiculous about that.

Bought mine with no trouble at 10:10.
Also received 3 tickets via email shortly afterwards.
The ST options should have been listed first- if I hadn’t checked the price I would have been overcharged.
