OxVox AGM

With the 200 folk on the mailing list or by posting on here is hardly "the fan base".

More to the point the AGM got pulled at very short notice and it was the weekend.

Seems everyone wants everything immediately and patience is a thing of the past.
I dont think it is unreasonable to question why something got pulled last minute and for a thread to be closed by OxVox themselves.

Now this isn't a dig at OxVox (although it may seem like it) but the facts are that it will be 2 years since the last AGM, and only one committee meeting in the last year. So much has happened in this time with the stadium planning delay, the need to secure somewhere to play football from June 2026, the near relegation and subsequent promotion, and all the challenges that come with being in the Championship. We have poor communication from the club, and it feels like communication from OxVox is just as bad.

Maybe they need more volunteers........... and we only need a single point of supporter contact? :)

Might have mentioned it before............

New AGM 11th of September Court Place Farm .. can see a lot of people missing this due to Oxford Cheetahs most important speedway meeting of the season that night :(

Play off semi final Vs Scunthorpe

As an exile, meetings that are not before a game are problematic for me - in that driving the best part of 60 miles each way and getting there for 7pm on a weekday evening is not really a goer. I know they acknowledge this in the email, but I like to go to the meetings to listen (a lot) and contribute (a little) and to show support.
