But if that was the case the club, OUSP & OxVox would surely have mentioned it. No?

If it was OUSP that had cancelled last minute and didn't give more details then you would be much more vocal in questioning the reasons why.

That group could just defer to a phone box in the Leys............. there ain`t no members to seat or worry about.

I guess I read security risk as something potentially serious and not something we should expect immediate answers on. I do see how it could mean something less grave but you never know.

I haven’t speculated. I have asked them why they felt the need to shut a thread down.
For all the flack OUSP get (and I’ve been one of those to question them) I have to say right now, they are the only supporters group who actually communicate properly with the fan base.

a few years ago OxVox has held members meetings with invited speakers at both Oxford citys club house ( the controversial Mr Mixter was one of the invited speakers) and also if memory serves a couple of meetings at The Masons Arms, Quarry ( in the function room) one had invited speakers, including city and county councillors as well as Nial Mac- I may be wrong ( memory ain't what it was) there mayhave been an AGM held there too?

Im in no way ITK , but logically the Stadium ower/ landlord may have decided to be awkward re accessibilty , timewise etc ?
of corse it could've been something else as well- Im sure the powers that be at OxVox will inform the whys n wherefores (eventually)

With the 200 folk on the mailing list or by posting on here is hardly "the fan base".

More to the point the AGM got pulled at very short notice and it was the weekend.

Seems everyone wants everything immediately and patience is a thing of the past.
