Important Notice - OxVox AGM to be held on Wednesday 11 September at Oxford City FC
A short update to thank you for your patience and announce the details of the rearranged AGM. Firstly I would like to stress that the stadium company had no part to play in the cancellation and in fact tried to help in sorting the issue. The fact of the matter is that the stadium on game day is now a different, more formal, beast and despite early confirmation and our best efforts we ran up against some access issues and hosting on that day proved impossible. As mentioned before we decided to cancel early to avoid people making arrangements that couldn’t be broken.
To that end we have decided to hold our rearranged AGM at Court Place Farm at the Oxford City FC facility. They have ample parking and are central with easy access. We also decided to avoid match day and do an evening event so we have booked it for Wednesday the 11th at 7 for a 7:30 start. We realise some who travel further and prefer combining with match day will be disappointed and we are already planning a pre match members meeting at the stadium further down the line for those wishing to chat with us and get your points across in person.
Non members and renewing members can join on the door.
We would love as many of you as possible to come along and get involved so if you can find time in your diary we would love to see you. The OUFC academy will be training outside and there will be a bar in place in the air conditioned marquee we have arranged.
Once again our apologies for the change of date. We work incredibly hard to make sure we try to stay connected with members and we were looking forward to seeing you all again.
