Best technical goals, not the most important
Never satisfiedHave 3 separate threads with polls along the lines of @ZeroTheHero categories. Would be interesting to see the splits on all.
For importance it has to be Josh’s 2nd followed by Alfie’s
Well, technically speaking, it was Beano's goal that actually won us the game. Alfie's goal just relieved ALL of the tension in one long primal scream.Alfie’s goal was (well, with the other two scored that day) the most important goal in the club’s history.
Without it sealing that game, it could well have been curtains for OUFC.
Winning at Wembley in 2010 kept the club alive, winning on Saturday gave the club a much needed cash injection but it wasn’t do or die like in 2010.For importance it has to be Josh’s 2nd followed by Alfie’s
Absolutely the most important goal. No comparisons. We probably wouldn’t be watching many of those goals if Alfie hadn’t scored.Winning at Wembley in 2010 kept the club alive, winning on Saturday gave the club a much needed cash injection but it wasn’t do or die like in 2010.
Tbf I think we had won it before Alfie’s goal (I had started celebrating and crying a good 10 minutes before it) but it was the icing on the cake that day.Absolutely the most important goal. No comparisons. We probably wouldn’t be watching many of those goals if Alfie hadn’t scored.
Yep. If we’d scored a third last week, it would have been an amazing moment. But the first goals were the critical ones.Tbf I think we had won it before Alfie’s goal (I had started celebrating and crying a good 10 minutes before it) but it was the icing on the cake that day.
For the walking football team, maybe?Brilliant wing play from Roofe for Hylton's goal. Is there a chance we could get him back again this season?
