I agree. I don't think he got on with Rowett which was understandable and he seems to only thrive when it suits him.

Well he had a pretty big impact in the 24/25 relegation battle, scoring a couple of vital goals. I think the point is that some of us thought he was underutilised in 25/26 when we desperately needed a player who could retain possession higher up the pitch.

It depends on what you mean by not caring. Plenty of footballers have no affection for their club (or the sport even) and still go out as professionals. I don’t personally care what Mills thinks about our club particularly, I just want players to be professional and perform to their highest standard.

If he knuckles down and puts the requisite effort in, I have no problem with him playing for us even if he badmouthing us with Pops over Sunday Roast.

If he doesn’t, he’ll have to stay as an expensive bad apple training with the kids until January.

Ball is in his court so hopefully he’ll come round and it works out for all parties. Lives (and careers) are short and all that.

Having suffered such mindless vandalism to my own car whilst parked in a perfectly legitimate, public road when attending an Oxford home game earlier this year, I can assure you that such a puerile and irresponsible comment, is not funny!!
It might be the sort of thing you do, but I can assure you it is far from cleaver or funny when you’re on the receiving end.

Maybe you will be one day?
Then, when you realise how s**t the deliberate and mindless actions of another person that you have never met , or are ever likely to , has made you feel, you might reflect back on the wisdom of making such a comment which carries such an implied threat!

If the team is complete freefall and heading for the trap door you try anything. Do I want that player in a relegation battle? If we are paying him and he is fit then yes of course.

The end of the season is when you seek any retribution and to keep him out in the cold was just cutting our nose off to spite our face.

For what it’s worth I don’t rate him but in that time when we had injuries and poor form to not utilise him in the squad whilst still paying him was a sin.

This is why I believe there were certain elements in the boardroom deliberately driving us to relegation. I don’t know what the Championship rules are on Profit and Sustainability other than £35m losses over 3 years or something like that. But I do believe we were possibly sailing close to the wind on that score and would maybe have started this season below Southampton had we stayed up. We also had expectations in signing Donley, Makosso and keeping Peart-Harris and attracting loan signings. None of which was really achievable in the Championship at all so (in my warped mind) it was easier, even with an impending embargo, for the board to accept relegation. Absolutely shameful.

It sounds crazy but there were 2 players who could have made a positive contribution to staying up. Dembele and Makosso were dropped like a bomb. Now even with an embargo we are failing to play Helik, BDK and Mills. Those 3 easily the difference between a lucky point and a comfortable home win.

It’s happening again.

Or just give them all free reign to switch between themselves during games.

I think Dembele needs to play with a touchline beside him.

The one minute rule was applied from the restart .

The referee stopped the game for Currie whereas the ball went out of play before Goodrham, and that's the rules now.
It amazes me how few fans actually know the rules and keep up to date with any changes.
