I don’t feel he needs ‘out of your seat moments’.

What we’ve craved from him since he signed was stability and consistency. What we got was extreme inconsistency and a catalogue of errors.

If BDK is fit and willing I'd probably put him in ahead Brannagan. I'd definitely keep Bradney in the match day squad.

Brannagan has been my favourite player since he's been with us, but sadly IMO he's lost a bit of pace and doesn't seem to be able to get about the pitch as much. This may not be an issue if we've got McDonnell in midfield as well.

Any news on Jin-woo?, I really hope he gets game time too.

Scratch that! I thought Brannagan was brilliant on Saturday. I just hope we don’t run him into the ground, the little shizter just won’t rest.

Most teams have a ‘Mr Nice Guy’ who everyone respects, and managers specifically ask them to get on a referee’s back during a game to repeatedly question minor decisions, because the official might later turn another decision in his favour. It works better for someone like Vaulks to play that role, than someone like CamBran who clocked up 10 yellows last season and referees will be stricter with him.

Teams have deployed this tactic for years, and Vaulks is currently our ‘Mr Nice Guy’.

He's literally shouting at full pelt after the first foul occurs in the game. Referees won't take him seriously and It's completely unnecessary, plus he should know better.

I personally have no care at this point if he leaves.

Credit to Ramsey for the way he’s handled the entire pre season. Not kicked a meaningful ball at all under his tenure but I am extremely impressed by all elements in these early days, especially the handling of the BDK situation.

Now to hope the football far exceeds the quality of the previous two managers!

It's modern football. When I was at school, and the world was only available in black and white, passing square across your own goalmouth was a mortal sin. One of our sports masters kept a large plimsoll to apply to the backside of sinners (forgotten kit, too lazy, etc).

Yes my mistake, they have both made the same amount of errors that have led to a goal in the last few seasons...1 each.

Part of me is enjoying the feeling that these are our players, we can’t get any more so we have to use them all and get the best out of them. It feels more right than freezing out expensive players, paying but not registering them, or loaning them to other clubs and still paying them. And we finally get to play some kids, which is really appropriate for a smallish local club. It’s just a shame that the other teams aren’t under the same strictures.

Yep, we are the plucky underdogs (whose players transfer fees and wage bill is more than half the clubs in the division at least but you just have to ignore that bit).
