Commercial Oxford United Crest Alteration

One topic discussed at the FAB introductory meeting that took place on 30th Sept was that the club have often found it difficult to consistently have our current club crest replicated, especially when reducing the size of it onto things such as poppy badges or having it printed in vinyl for display around the ground and training ground. It was proposed by Adam Benson that the club would like to remove the pin stripes on the current club crest, leaving just a yellow background.

The general feeling amongst FAB representatives was that most fans would actually prefer it without the pin stripes, or wouldn't be bothered enough by it to have a strong opinion on it. But we wanted to confirm this feeling before giving the club the go ahead to make the change.

The pretzel-like symbol is the Staffordshire (or Stafford) knot, a traditional symbol of the county.

Shouldn't this be in the kits thread as it has nothing to do with the OUFC crest?
