Walking around west Sheffield area today (Broomhill/Crooks) and it looks like an Oxford fan/fans once had a field day here.

There’s also a sticker on a bus stop on Fulwood Road.

I think you have put an extra G in front of CSE.
Otherwise I’d assume reading the article for “nice here” ≈”not bad” and a bit of google translate.

Unless of course you were taking exams designed for 16 year olds which were first used in 1989 ?

Its been a long time since the exam results............. and if I think about it, and I could be wrong, CSE`s were graded with numbers so it was likely a 2.

Its all chaff to the wind now.

Iirc grade 1 CSE was the equivalent of an O level grade A to C.

Although there was a school of thought at the time that a grade 1 CSE was actually harder to achieve than a low O level pass grade.

But as you say it a long time ago now!
