National News Oxford city stars turn down promotion

Damn cut n paste not working so cant post the link to todays ox mail.... after winning south division 2 title and division 2 championship oxford city stars have rejected promotion......apparently all due to funding.....wonder if theres any sort of link between oxford city stars and oufc ladies managements ??????

I may be wrong but promotion would require significantly more funding as they would go from a regional league to a countrywide one.

Shrewsbury may have had the same problem
