In fact Northampton are embarrassingly poor. It’s like all our yesterdays with Ashby, Roberts, Bradbury, Rose, Mitchell and now dear old Ricky Holmes on pitch. City look very very useful.

Oldfield is City’s manager as well.

Better team and deserved to win, fair play to them.

Great performance by City, every one of them were outstanding. Hope our boys were watching. The interchanging of passing the ball and SOLID defending was excellent. As was said, nice to see our old boys do well.
Having listened to the Chairmans ambitions, its hard to think it wasnt very long ago they nearly went bust.

Great result and performance for City. Heartening to see so many ex-U’s do well.

If we were on the lookout for four teams worse than us this season, we can add Northampton to that bracket. They were dreadful.
