Thought McCreadie she Sampford we’re poor tonight. Didn’t attack the ball enough and often let it bounce causing panic. Scimshaw is a handful as well as a very good footballer. Certainly physically could handle league football as already very well developed.

Positives, though Owen James was very good and Lopes was busy in the middle. Nico-Jones and Elechi were good although it looked like Nico was at fault for the 3rd. Our strength was our left side and the first half was the time to take advantage as Bournemouth doubled and sometimes tripled up on James and Elechi.

Nothing to be ashamed of though, the young lads are a credit to the football club and themselves. One major difference between the two was the respect. Our lads were top draw whilst Bournemouth were very back chatty to the officials and even the oxford players when we had the ball. On more than one occasion the Bournemouth 11 said to James, don’t worry lads he’s shot and won’t do f**k all.

Robinson was there for about an hour along with Faz and And Chrissy Allen. New signing was also at the game chatting with Robinson.

More ready than our young lads and that’s not a put down for our boys, he’s just in a different level. Physically he’s a beast. Also very quick. Bournemouth have a very good player on their hands.

The lad Scrimshaw looked a decent player tonight. Very strong and can certainly finish, 3 goals from 3 attempts tonight......looks a natural goalscorer. Is he ready for a league one relegation battle?? That would be a tough ask for any young lad

Decent game....our younguns played well &gave those prem'pups a game,wasnt our u18s night tonight....played well, many chances didn't go on target , those 5hat did thier keeper had covered....bmouth were marginally better team on the night (imo not 3 goals better) there again scrimshaw was a coupla cuts above, 3 chances & he bagged a hat trick .....referee gave everything 50/50 to b'mouth , though nowt new there

Made the Oxford to south Somerset run post match straight after final whistle, in 1hr 40 min , pleased with that me
