To be fair, Dale has looked awful when starting this season and better from the bench. On the whole, I thought the same last season. Having said that from an attacking sense Placheta was about as bad as it gets last night. Defensively he was ok, maybe he will become a LB! Agree about Goodwin though.

True, but if Placheta had have stayed on the pitch vs Millwall we would have lost that game. Dale single handedly turned the tide, and surely that earns him a start 🤷‍♂️ as for Goodwin who bloody knows what happened there!

Hope they like him up there more than they do Will Goodwin! Safe to say that he hasn't had the best of starts.......

We know that Dale will be a good player for them at League One level, but man, couldn't have picked a less exciting time to go there. 10 points from the playoffs, 9 points from the drop, score one goal a game, concede one goal a game, as mediocre and midtable as it's possible to be!

Might be even more boring than the situation Edwards is going into other than it's a decent stadium and, y'know, it's not in Stevenage.

Good luck Owen.

Your passion, vigor and effort was a large reason why we achieved promotion last season. You arrived at the right time and have been an excellent professional during your time here as well as having your best game for us at Wembley.

Wishing him all the best ,let's stay up and iam sure in the summer Phillips will be gone as well and another winger in .Best of luck to him

A great signing at L1 level and one of our best pieces of business last year in my opinion. He was a real shot in the arm for our team when we most needed it.

Infectious energy that regardless of his performance always brought something to the table and could be an exciting watch on his day.

One of those players that was sort of an inevitable casualty of becoming a championship side. I do wish he’d got a bit more of a chance, particularly when nothing else was working, as we’ve seen so many others like Greg Leigh and Ciaron Brown really push on and evolve in to throughly decent championship regulars.

Nonetheless I don’t have a bad word to say and hope he settles well in Wigan and has a great end to the season. Great signing for them.

One of those players who just seemed to get what it meant to be a professional footballer and represent a club. Played a big part in the turnaround at the end of last season - just a bit overshadowed by the bloke on the other side of the pitch.

Wish he'd been given a bit more of a chance when the wheels were falling off under Des this season perhaps - his pumped-up cameo at the end of the Millwall game will be a highlight of the season for me as it showed there was some fight and spirit left in the squad at least.

Would love to think he might have another chance with us, but seems unlikely - so can only wish him well for the rest of the season.

I may be the only one who thinks this, but I believe Owen's a miss from the current starting eleven. Grit, determination and not a little skill. Let's face it, 'show ponies' Placheta and Dembeli aren't exactly cutting it at the moment.

If we weren't going to fill the available squad places, then we should have kept him. At the very least he would give us another option.
