Hi everyone,

Many thanks to everyone who has read our opening post on here, followed our news via social media, the club website or the local media! And a big thank you to everyone who has donated to our Dream Big Appeal so far.

Tomorrow has been made Community Day as part of our 30th anniversary celebrations. It's a big day for us in OUFC's charity! We have sent letters and tickets to every primary school in the county inviting them to the match as a thank you and to give something back to the community and to share in our special celebrations / encourage new generations to be part of it.

We will be doing our usual match day stuff: stadium tours, mascots, guards of honour, Olly's Den and the family room. There will also be face painting and we have some local junior football teams in.

Our Trustees will be in attendance - many of them attend as OUFC fans anyway! And the local media will be doing a special piece for us.

As part of our Dream Big Appeal to raise funds to help us do more in the community going forward we are holding a bucket collection tomorrow. There will be collection points dotted around the exterior of the stadium pre-match. PLEASE do give what you can afford and back your football club's charity! We've seen so many times what a massive difference OUFC fans make when they pull together and get behind something. This is your club's charity working hard to make a difference in your community. With your support we can make sure we do more in the future in your name.

Thank you,
The Oxford United in the Community team!
