Show me a party where they don't do s**t like this. Boris Johnson actually got the PM job purely because of being a dickhead for the press.
 
By contrast, the lib Democrats are calling for the UK to move to an entirely independent nuclear deterrent.

Putting aside what you may or may not think about nuclear weapons, that seems a very serious approach to having them.

That's probably a more relevant policy area on which to consider whether they get your attention, than immature online branding of opponents.

And they are correct. One of the main criticisms of Britain's Trident nuclear weapons programme is that it is partly or entirely dependent on American technology, intel, and expertise. Trump has proved on a number of occasions that the 'special relationship' between the UK and US is over. It is more like an abusive relationship, and the UK needs to stand on it's own two feet, and maybe seek alliances elsewhere (CANZUK, EU).

Whilst I think the LibDem's will do well nationally I think locally people have had enough will the poor roads, LTNs, congestion charges, park and rides with no access, the campusification of Oxford City Centre and confusing rules and admin just use use the tip and are starting to send a message:

There are lots of people like that across the UK...................mostly living in nice areas unaffected by said arrivals.
