It’s the unknowns for me that make this season more of a mystery as to who will take up the bottom three places.

You know what you get with the likes of Robins, Rowett and Nathan Jones at this level which makes me think we may be ok. Nothing spectacular but possibly ok.

It’s the likes of Stephan at QPR, Pezzolano at Watford and Jakirovic at Hull who could be anything - amazing or awful.

They’re the exposed teams now and it’ll be interesting to know how they cope under foreign managers.

I thought the rationale was much softer and maybe even more unconvincing than some of the criticisms they made of teams who they have finishing above us. Felt like the 22nd place was hedging the unknowns a bit, which is fair enough really.

They had us 21st last season? So we finished 4 places above their prediction.
I reckon that they are massively underestimating GR. Which surprises ne a little.

I think they were generally positive regarding GR and his ability.
I think we all probably have questions around the overall strength and depth of the squad and the lack pre season prep .

Listening to George on.the Dub, he was suggesting ( before we signed 2 strikers), that he reckons we have around a 40% chance of relegation and he is optimistic.
So in context , I see where he us coming from , but still think that underestimated GR!

Just had a listen on the way to work. A good pod as usual but disappointing if understandable that they have Oxford going down. I think there is still a lot to play for and it is far from certain. A few things are needed: a good transfer window (and the start has been very good), luck on injuries and Bloomfield to hit the ground running (given we prefer four at the back and that is MB's favoured approach then there is every chance of that happening). Then as the fellas on the pod say - if we can keep in contention until early March then we have a number of six pointers to get us up the table.

We put a man on the moon. Impossible is nothing. Dare to Zlatan etc. etc
