On the website it says ‘option to buy’ I wonder if it is truly an ‘option’ or if it’s mandatory if we stay up which is what was originally rumoured

Either way he at least sounds physical which we’ve desperately needed up front
 
So, not an obligation. Does that mean we get first refusal should he have a storming season? I wonder if a price has been set, I hope so.

And the terms seem incredibly sensible to me, put him on the credit card and reduce the likelihood of hitting FFP restrictions, hopefully we can move the stadium costs off the balance sheet by next season as well.

Maybe the deal helps us make one more signing for a decent fee… Levi 👀
 
Anyone know what happens if he bangs 20 goals this seasons and Sheff Utd decide they want him next summer? Do we have any say on him staying with us?

I wonder if his contract is also agreed now. As he could turn town the contract for a bigger club?

b*****s to that, if he hasn’t scored at least 2 hat tricks with in the first 3 games I will be writing him off completely.

For my own sanity as much as anything else, I try to keep this up to date!

Currently 26 eligible players (Spencer underage, Easty not registered) so at least one of these will need to leave. Presumably Dale, Negru, Kioso and Sibley (in that order) depending on who else comes in and whether Romeny's injury leaves him unregistered until January.
