Does anyone have a list of who is and isn't here next season? Or are we in the dark with alot of deals?

I know the division we are in will make a difference on making loans permanent and players may jump ship but I was thinking more about those we own and who may be out of contract.

Are all the players currently out on loan in the final year of deals?
Dale, Kioso, Sibley etc.

What about Marcelino? Romeny? Dembele? Shemmy?

I’m sure shemmy is out of contract depending on what league we are in will decide if we stays i would say

Come the summer we will have (from what I can find), the following OOC:

Ingram
Leigh
Findlay
Placheta
Fernindan
Peart-Harris
Dale
O'Donkor
Bradshaw

Along with the following loans expiring:

Roosken
Davies
Makosso
Konak
Donley
Lankshear
Prelec

We also have players out on loan that may or may not have a future depending on which league we are in:

Kioso
Sibley
Negru
Goodwin

Irrespective of the league we are in, there is a big overhaul to come. Also a big opportunity should we get it right

I have, as contracted for next year:

Cumming
Ingram (possibly - based on @Front Post above)
Spencer
Currie
Long
Ter Avest
Brown
Helik
Vaulks
De Keersmaecker
Brannagan
McDonnell
Goodrham
Mills
Dembele
Jeon Jin-Woo
Emakhu
Harris
Romeny

I just checked Stuart Findlay's Wikipedia page. Don't know who's claiming to represent Oxford fans here but this is shameful. Hopefully someone can tidy it up. Not intended to reopen an old debate.

Anyone can edit Wikipedia, so you could do it yourself
I've tried before and found out they block mobile internet IP addresses. I don't have broadband only mobile. I'll try again tho.

Edit - yeah still blocked by IP. 😡

Also, I thought Dembele was on a two year deal, as was Vaulks (albeit with an option to trigger a third year, which we're unlikely to use), meaning they were both OOC in the summer as well?

If we end up in League 1 next season our squad will look very different to the current one.

It took 25 years to retain our tier 2 status, a quick return is far from guaranteed.

I think next year's squad will look very different regardless of the league we find ourselves in.

If you include departing loanees, contracts expiring and a couple of sales then I think we’re looking at 15-20 moving on in the Summer.

I hope we have a tighter recruitment policy, maybe spreading next seasons wage budget across a squad of 20 which is padded out with 2 or 3 youngsters.

We’ve got far too many players who simply are ‘wasted’ wages at the moment as they are not in MB plans.

Regardless of what division we end up in, it’s going to be an interesting Summer.

Yes I reckon at least 20 will move on ( if you include Sibley, Dale, Goodwin, Thorniley, Negru, Phillips, Bradshaw, Leigh, Dembele, Marselino, O'Donkor)
A very different squad regardless of which Division we are in.

I wonder what the trigger is for signing Donley and Makosso. I think they are both loans with options in the summer. Can it be as simple as 'stay in championship' or is it likely to be more complicated! Hopefully we stay up, Donley signs permanently and gets his mate Big Will to come back for another season on loan!

I think there is a very good chance Lankshear and Donley will be playing in the championship next season, they just won't need loans or transfers to do that.

Donley 4.5 mill mak 2 or 2.5 I think

Lanks has sailed as too expensive now or hell be playing for spurs in the championship as he's proven championship now

I would say that's probably the likeliest scenario for him next season as its stands, if they go down (and after the weekend just gone that looks like it could happen) why would they not have a young centre forward in their squad who has hit double figures in a struggling team? Bit of a no brainer.

I would bet money on Vaulks still being here next year regardless of what league we're in.

The Roosken deal was done as a loan just to get it complete on deadline day. It therefore carried a minimal trigger within it to make it permanent. Given when Jerome said he believed it had been met, I suspect it was "start a game".
