New striker needed

It’s getting very late in the day for recruiting a new striker.
Is there any further news or rumours anyone has heard?
Last year nothing happened to allow the manager to prepare for the new season.
Eight days to go.
Hopefully we are going to hear very soon especially with Sunderland away coming up

If, with 8 days still to go, we get to the Sunderland game without the missing 2 strikers and centre back then there will be less football talk than at the moment.
I cannot see that happening though as kr isn't that daft that he doesnt know the critisism that will come the clubs way, along with the few posters who said they had solid information from their sources that signings were in the pipeline.
