When some people buy a house apparently they buy the right to nothing being built in the 10 square miles around that house for the rest of there lives. Some idiots even move next door to pubs that have been there donkeys years before and then complain about the noise. Hopefully we have moved past a few Hyacinth Buckets shouting loudly being an insurmountable obstacle.

This is absolutely a pet hate of mine!

Bit like them wolvercote lot moaning about the train line being reused even though it was there before their houses were built.

Hopefully even Sheff Weds and Pompey fans will sign it because as away areas are concerned the North stand is crap
The whole stadium is crap in terms of appearance and facilities. But visiting supporters do at least get to view the action from the side of the pitch (as opposed to behind the goal, as happens at most other grounds) so from their point of view, they may actually prefer the current ground to Stratfield Brake, where they will probably have to view from behind the goal.

I'd hazard a guess that many fans who travel away like being behind the goal... especially the singing, vocal support.

Not sure any away fan would prefer the kassam to what looks like could be built, and where.

You've come up with very curious posts lately, Chris ...

Attacking your own fans us often an advantage so keep the away fans tucked away in a high corner and have Oxford fans behind both goals.

according to Ox Mail 3 years from planning permission ( if granted) in 2023 to new Stadium completed for 2026 .....

along with other snippets of info etc in advance of tomorrows crucial council meeting .....

So if they are suggesting 2023 for planning granted, when will a planning application have to go in to get that approved in that time.

The timings, apart from planning approval, are all in the proposal document and discussed earlier in the thread, in depth by Fanatica.

May 2022: legal and preplanning due diligence concluded.

May 2023: planning application submitted.

May 2026: construction of the new Stadium to be completed.
