What kidlington needs is something for the yoof to focus on something they can respect and look after something they can take pride in
A football stadium perhaps
Unfortunately kpc took a decision to remove the best facilities away from the younger generation but I'm sure just a stadium will do the same

Do anyone on hear know who the local councillor/s are who represent this area at, local, district and county level? I only ask as I would like to know if any of them support the development of the new stadium.

Oxfordshire county council

You’ve put Middleton down as No but we all know he is neutral about the stadium.

Not heard of Dorothy Walker or any comments about the stadium from them, I'm assuming one of those oh so "progressive" greens or LDs?

There is nothing in that letter that is the truth. She just makes rubbish up. Truly appalling behaviour from a local councillor.

Why are an "environmental group" bothered about this anyway? The lease is nothing to do with the environment. It's all about trying to destroy a local institution for FoSB now as they have been shown up so many times by OUFC supporters.

Nasty, nasty people.

Suzy implies OUFC has not attempted negotiations for a long lease or purchase because there is no publicly available evidence. However, the absence of evidence does not necessarily mean that negotiations have not occurred. Business negotiations, especially concerning valuable assets like stadiums, are often private. Old sarsons assumes that if OUFC had made an offer, it would be publicly documented, but that is not necessarily the case

Suzy downplays the significance of legal rights, lease renewals, and covenants, calling them "irrelevant statements." However, these factors are crucial when determining the feasibility of a long-term agreement. While the Oxford Local Plan protects the stadium, this does not obligate the owner to sell it to OUFC or even to offer a long-term lease under specific conditions.

Dear Suzi. Repeating the same untruths and fairytales over and over will not somehow make them 'true'. You really are making yourself look like a very sad and bitter person with these weekly rants.

Gotta laugh at the "Of course Kassam has development plans, just in case OUFC does move" It's another classic case of manipulating the truth to fit with your false narrative. Kassam's development plans are precisely why he used Force Majeure to end the old licence and give notice for eviction in 2026.

The 'Friends of Stratfield Brake' under her name, as if it gives dear Suzi some kinda voice of authority. All her "friends" have long given-up and have realised they threw their money away. It's a one-woman show, and using an extremely misleading name. She is no friend of Stratfield Brake, otherwise she'd be fundraising for the sports teams, for improved changing facilities and picking up litter and dog poo on a Sunday morning.

McIvor is just a bitter old woman who doesn't want a football ground in her neck of the woods.
