Just noticed that Paul Batt has posted one of his highly successful replies on the thread. Well done Paul.

You are correct. Maybe someone who is a member on here could post a screenshot. I failed to do this I’m sorry to say.
so basically someone 5/6 weeks ago flagged up an issue with ian Middleton regarding fly tipping by the bus stop near bladon roundabout on the a44 now 5/6 weeks later the issue still remains and this person is telling middleton again. ian says he needs to know where it is as it could be wodc and not cdc just from the vague description i can sort of work out where it is ( duel carriageway bit alongside airfield ) but i can see Middleton's point of not knowing the the right location to decide which council it belongs too but i would of thought we would know cdc boundaries. this goes on for a few posts arguing about council tax and location etc

Absolutely fantastic. Love it when Middleton gets his a**e handed to him. What an odious a*****e he is

Seems to me Councillor Middleton has been to obsessed with trying to stop the stadium and destroy the stadium to deal with other issues

Councillor Middleton was made fully aware of the council concerned as I read the whole post. It would appear that he has removed some of his replies covering this on another thread. I would have thought his position as Environment lead in the Cherwell District Council cabinet would have made him act much earlier. Paul highlighted that Malcolm had given clear and precise details of the location.

its a 2 year build from the moment we start should we get granted permission in june i see us on site by mid november

I'm not sure it will be that quick. I'll be amazed if we're on site this year. My gut feeling is that we are a good 12 months away from provisional work on the site and maybe 18 months before construction fully begins. I believe that we will need a further 18 months for it to be completed which still gives a completion date of summer 2028.

However, we have seen previously with covid that things can change quickly and I would hope that we have contingencies built into both ends of any expected time frames.

Middleton has the communication skills of an amoeboid.

Green Party needs to send him on a course.

England played Aylesbury United at that ground as a warm-up for Euro 88. Mad to think after such a good buildup to the tournament England went on to lose all 3 games...

Aylesbury United seems the perfect warm up to take on a group of death that included the winners Holland with Van Basten, Gullit and Rijkard, the runners up USSR with Rats, Blokhin and Daseyev and a very decent and very up for it Republic of Ireland with McGrath, Houghton and Aldridge. Can’t see how it went so wrong.
