I don’t really care as long as it’s not heinous but I hope we get some better away kits, on a level with the recent purple and the white-with-sash.

agree re the purple and the white with sash away shirts,along with this seasons black with gold trim , were very decent 2nd kits - albeit I dont buy replica shirts ( though my granddaughters do- or more accurately have them bought for them )

Surely the 40 year anniversary is the perfect time to have a kit thats a nod to the Milk Cup shirt.

Would also explain why there wasnt a 86 shirt included in the recent Milk Cup merch drop from the club.

I go on holiday on the 19th August which is after the season starts so hoping I can get myself and the kids kitted out before we hit the beach! The wife loves it when I wear Oxford shirt and bucket hat by the pool.

We did that in 2015/16 for the 30th anniversary season. Are we going to wheel one out every decade now?

Why not? A decade is a long gap. Plus that short design has seen us win a national cup competition and get an automatic promotion, I say where it more not less with that success rate.

Not really related to this thread, but a lot of my 80s / 90s bands who had several good albums seem to be on a cycle. So year 1 is 25 years of album A, year 2 is 25 years of album B etc, then year 6 is back to 30 years of album A etc.

Actually think Macron do a decent job of not churning out identikit templates. Miles better than what I've seen from the likes of Puma in recent years.

Culture trends tend to go in approx 20 year cycles. Music, fashion, art, etc. What's big now with the teens of today? The same stuff that was big in the 00s.
