It's nearly that time again. Am I right in thinking that the current season was the last under the Macron deal?

If so, any whisperings as to the new sponsor next season?

New kit releases for 2026-27 get underway shortly:

Correct, this is the final of the 3-season Macron deal. I've not heard anything about who we might go to next, nor whether we might even renew our agreement with them. But then again, I am not (here comes that silly season acronym) ITK.

Regarding sponsor, we still have one season with BAXI.

End of four season contract with Macron.

I’m wondering whether it might be extended, especially with the “In Bloom” flower shirt being worn this summer. That said, the original OUFC/Macron announcement did state “until the summer of 2026”, so this could simply be the 'last hurrah'.

When the team returned from the Indonesian tour, TW mentioned having important meetings with potential partners out there. I may be reading too much into it, but it caught my attention. 'Mills', an Indonesian sportswear manufacturer based in Jakarta, already supply Tranmere, so there’s a possible link there??

I wouldn’t be surprised if we see something a bit different from the usual merry-go-round of kit suppliers.

BAXI is an interesting one. They extended the sponsorship until the end of the 26/27 season. Would they want to continue with a League One club? Could they be playing a long-game, and hope to be part of the infrastructure installed in the new stadium?

We've struggled this year with secondary sponsorship - back-of-shirt and back-of-shorts. Rumours were the club got too greedy. With relegation, will they now lower prices to get 'something' or be stubborn and price themselves out of the market again?

Interesting times! (for kit nerds) :ROFLMAO:

Yes, 4 seasons of Macron, of course!

I'd also like to see something a bit different/unique. I got excited when we first partnered with Macron as it seemed to be a comparatively small name in the game, but then suddenly it seemed like half the EFL sides got Macron kits too.

We've had some pretty tasty training kits in our time with Macron, hopefully this is something that continues regardless of who we go/stick with.

Mills is an Indonesian brand, so there is obvious links there with our ownership. Wouldn't be surprised if they are our next kit supplier.

They produced Tranmere Rovers kit this season, which looked decent.

Anyone care to guess the colour schemes for next season?

My annual request for a British Racing Green away kit as a nod to Oxfordshire's motor manufacturing and motorsport heritage. Kit reveal could be at the Mini factory or involving one one or more of the Oxfordshire based F1 teams. Audi F1 also have a presence at Bicester Motion these days too.

I like Adidas kits and merch although we probably wouldn't be worthy of the trefoil on our kits.

Certainly the Adidas World Cup kits are far superior than the Nike monstrosities.
As long as we avoid that ridiculous Kappa logo

Don’t like the idea of Oxen, for me their logo looks like a low-gen version of ours, so would look weird on a shirt together.

Feel like an Indonesian one may be on the cards, but I don’t like the Mills designs for Tranmere, they just look like they’re made from cheap low-quality material.

If we are going down the Indonesian route then I like the designs produced by Ortuseight, but when we look at the Indonesian national team they’ve moved over to Kelme, who also do Watford’s kit. They do have an awful paw logo though

The big brand kit manufacturers have no interest in little clubs like us as we just don't shift enough gear.
