As we move into the off-season, the release date for the new shirts is now coming into view on the horizon. Assuming you can get to a high vantage point and see 'September 1st' in the distance that is...

I wasn't a fan of this season's shirt, it just seemed very bland following on from the beaut of a kit we had in our promotion season. Hopefully the next shirt will be a touch more interesting.

Away shirts, I really like the purple kit, the only one of the 3 that I bought this time around. Keep the colour, but do something about the weird neckline that was the only letdown. The white kit, again for me this was quite boring, as all of the white shirts since the fantastic 2019/20 Singha white shirt with the yellow and blue sash. I'd like to see the purple retained, and 'promoted' to become the second shirt, and a return to the sky blue kit for our third kit.

What are you looking for next time around?

Hopefully we will see the shirts released earlier this year.

Totally agree with you on the purple shirt neckline - it was so bad.
White is getting boring, although the actual style of the white one was nice.
Home kit was dire.

I'd like to see a change in away colours from the usual dark blue or white as I find them so boring.

oh god I'm not sure I'm ready for another shirt debacle.

Environmentally I'd actually prefer if we use the current shirt for another season but I can't see that happening.
I’d just stick with the current shirts, they’re fine and the extra income from launching new ones would hardly pay for Tim’s business lunches. But obviously this won’t happen

We used to have a two-season kit rotation, guess it is a sign of 'modern football' that clubs change all of their kits every season these days.
I'd like us to have a two season rotation where the home kit and the change kit stay the same for two years, but they update on alternate years. Make the change kit different enough to cater for any possible (league) kit clash and dump the third kit idea.

I really liked the purple this year. Changing the primary kit enough to make it significantly different but not so much as to lose the original identity (e.g. the striped abomination of some years ago) is a tricky balancing act. Maybe the club ought to ask for design ideas, then at least it will be our fault rather than theirs!

As we are about to start the 4th (of four) seasons with Macron, and Baxi are with us for three years, there isn't really any excuse for a late launch this year.

Last year, Stoke launched their Macron kit at the very end of May, Bolton was in mid-June, and WBA and Blackburn in very early July.

I believe the 2024 kit was signed off in October 2023, so I will assume a similar timeframe this year. In theory, they could already be boxed up and ready to go! 😅

I'm in agreement with all of this, I'm not a fan of the large BAXI sponsor either.

I'm too old school and continue to wear my Unipart 90s shirts!

Home: Same tone of yellow but more interesting sleeves

Away: Sky Blue

Third: DECK CHAIR!

I'd love that: my little boy is fed up with his old away kit as he wants to be in yellow! There's none left in his size in the home shirts. He's decided he wants Brannagan on the back now rather than Placheta, which says it all really.

He also left his Oxford cap on the train coming back from Hillsborough so it's really frustrating they've got no sunhats in his size either, especially as the weather's so good.

Some Macron 25/26 kits already leaked...

Wonder if we'll be getting another Truck Festival shirt again this summer.

The last two 'kits' I have bought have been the 23 and 24 Truck shirts, so I'm hoping they do so again.
fingers crossed.

You would hope the club have learnt from their mistakes and we don’t get the interns leaking the kit and the transfer target list.

I think people are getting a bit carried away on the euphoria of staying up, early season ticket and kit release and now learning from our mistakes, it was a minor miracle staying up, I think the other stuff might be asking to much.
