Media New Official Club Website

The new official website has just gone live. https://www.oufc.co.uk/

At first glance it looks great! I design and build websites for a living, so will decline to critique, I'll leave that for everyone else.

Some will undoubtedly say "it's not very yellow". I get that, but what I would say, is I purposely avoided yellow on oxfordkits.com to allow the images to shine. I suspect a similar thought process will have been taken for the club website. However, I think the navigation bar could at least be yellow!

Over to you....

Interesting to see Edwards is still on there, even though most loans and OOC players have been removed

Bit jarring at first but I'm sure it'll grow and I already like the fact that the functionality seems better when going to the ticket page. The old site was nice and clean but there were some elements that made it a bit cumbersome like the yellows account sign in.

That is something which should be caught at the design stage. Really feel for people who have to put up with oversights like this.
I have complained to them several times (sometimes they wd come up yellow on black then revert) and when CW was here - accessibility features do not help with this. I don't think designers consider it at all tbh it's an accidental benefit when it doesn't occur.

I don't understand why it wasn't rigorously tested before go live. If it was, why launch without the ability to sell tickets. Beyond me.

It’s had to change along with most other EFL clubs as the i-follow has been binned. Many clubs have switched over in the past few days.

However it doesn’t look right to me with the top banner looking inadequate.

Swindon’s web site has a different layout?

designed by a different company by the look of it
