because his own party stitched him up his elevation to the house of lords , breaking centuries of parliamentary protocol of retired speakers awarded a peer-ship of some sort, its a consolation perchance?

on a more serious note ( of the new £20 note type), even though I know its actually Turner, I still had to have a look n check..... and agree @Paul Cannell , the likeness of Berkow to Turner, on the new £20 note, is uncanny
