For a second time the government don't follow the scientific advice and delay lockdown until the virus is completely out of control therefore necessitating a longer lockdown than would have been required with consequential worse economic fallout and still people will defend them on here.

They don’t do testing in schools, colleges and universities but they are apparently leaving those open. They will just shut the whipping boy businesses that are the leisure industries and not let people mix households, football will carry on, unfortunately.

Give him a break Sarge. He’s got an unbelievably difficult job, that no other PM has had to deal with.

It’s delayed because his meeting with his cabinet went on longer than expected, and a few Conservative MP’s are opposed to a second lockdown.
