Well end product does count as weve seen with Dembele and Placheta with the odd goal and assist not nearly enough so MPH has to improve there, but MPH is a far better player than those two as it is.

Totally agree with this. He was the first one in January to come in and elevate the team. Donley and Konak have followed and if we could keep the three of them for next season, I’d be over the moon.
 
Seen MPH play 15 games for us now, and I'm still not exactly sure what to make of him as a player.

You can tell he's been through one of the top academies - a bit like McGuane, his technique is good and he's clearly had a bunch of training in maintaining possession. He's reasonably quick and reasonably strong but neither is impressive enough to be a calling card on its own. He's got decent defensive instincts as well......but then at other times, he comes off as way too casual, especially with his final ball or attempts at goal. Only the one goal and no assists since he joined.

Getting the sense that he's a good player, but not nearly as good as he thinks he is. I was impressed that he backed himself with a short term prove it deal in January, but I doubt very much that he's done enough with us to move up in the world next year. Unless he has a big end to the year, I suspect he's looking at League One next season or someone like Lincoln at best......(would we want to keep him if we stayed up......maybe, but only at a reasonable wage as a squad player)

Completely agree with this. He’s got some good attributes but I can’t work out if he’s tired, lazy or both. I’ve said it before but he doesn’t put his foot through the ball sometimes, it’s bizarre.
 
Came to us to put himself in the shop window. Won't be many people's first choice, upon that showing. He'll find a club, just later on in the window, I reckon. He may have to lean on previous seasons displays to secure a club of the size he's after.
 
Had a really good start, before slowing right down to being almost unplayable.
Some of his away performances in February were among the best of any individual this season, and particularly against Leicester, kept us in the survival hunt longer than we could have been otherwise

Probably realised that he needed to keep himself injury free for a better opportunity!
 
Not sure what to make of him tbh.

On one hand he seems fairly talented and hard working, on the other hand he seems ineffective and lazy. If I had to choose one then I'd go with the latter and he's not really the player you want in a relegation battle when he's more concerned about himself over a short term period.

This is the thing - he talked so openly about putting himself in the shop window, yet I'm not sure this loan has actually done anything to help him.

I'm willing to accept hewas played out of position, but there's no excuse for poor work ethic and he definitely could have tried harder at times.
 
Some days he was great some days he was so bad we could have been playing with 10 men . If we had stayed up would I have been happy to keep him probably not I don't actually think he's championship standard but that's just my opinion. He will probably end up at a Cardiff or West Brom abit of a nothing championship team
 
He had aspirations of playing in the PL when he/Brentford agreed to us signing him for the rest of the season. If so, you can’t fault his self confidence. Technically, a good player. However, he wanted far too much time on the ball, was generally quite lethargic, not particularly quick, nor was his finishing all that. Certainly won’t feel like we’re missing out on him!
