If your Dad was a Bowie nut like me he was probably at Oxford Town Hall in June 1972
The following month he was on Top of The Pops and the rest is history
I was 17 at the time, happy memories

Yeah he was at Oxford Town Hall and Aylesbury Civic as well for the Ziggy tour.

I'm just surprised (and slightly relieved) I'm not called Ziggy to be fair, and he decided to name me after Steve Marriott instead...

Speaking of Bowie...
Being a bit of a fan of Hunky Dory and Ziggy Stardust, I bought the Five Years CD box set - 1969-1973 - A whole 10 CDs of fantastic listening pleasure!
I then went on to get the rest of the box sets as they came out -
Who Can I be Now? 74-76
A New Career 77-82
Loving The Alien 83-88
Brilliant Adventure 92-01
They all have their wonderful moments, but the earlier Five Years is still my favourite.
