probably .... and hopefully too ..... but, despite assurances and reassurances during last season, we had wup's, players & staff not being paid .... and not just the once.... Im suspicious of the ability of the current owners when it comes to paying any bills on time

I was always nervous about our ability to pay over the summer with no income. And also speculated the reluctance to sign anyone may be to prevent wages owed.

So the financial director has been speaking with a forked tongue? ... despite assurances made , he was talking bollox ...... any wonder senior signings seem to have halted- who'd sign for a club renowned for continually late payment of wages, at a time when players and staff arent being paid?

If the club have cocked up the money AGAIN, then I despair. And anyone whittering on either about the excellence of the training ground or the wealth of some of the directors needs their heads examining. Without a sustainable first team, the training ground is a moot point and it doesn't matter how much money various individuals have or don't have if they aren't prepared to spend it.

I know it's the summer - but if that's come as a shock to the management, then they need 'The Dummies Guide to Budgeting' - and if this 'hiccup' has stopped players signing for us then perhaps whoever is responsible is better off leaving the club.
