Dot Counting Millwall (Home) Ticket Thread - Sat 30th November (12.30pm)

Attendance tracking
They and others may have bought a ticket, but whether they get to keep that ticket is another thing. The checks that the ticket office do takes place after the sale and suspicious names/addresses have had the tickets cancelled a few days later.

I'll prompt the ticket office to look at recent sales in the North Stand but I wouldn't be surprised if they're already on to it.

"What do you think of this one, a mr C. Wankah from Notlondon road?"
"Erm...."

Data analytics 📊 will be the undoing of these poor cockney scrotes. The world has moved on beyond their comprehension.

Credit card data has to match username which will match prior sales on Millwall database

Ticket terminated 🎟️ 🛑

Do you think Millwall fans will be buying the on their own credit cards? These south east London villains will be using stolen ones.

I absolutely hate Millwall but I’m going to have to come in here and say they aren’t cockneys. Scrotes is fine.

6.30pm update on Sunday and currently 709 home seats available - by Stand they are distributed North 95, East 63, South Upper 109, South Lower 442.

After the result on Saturday and with the early kick off I think this match will fall marginally short of a sell out given the recent rate of sales but it should still be an 11,000+ crowd.

It may well not get to the point where the ticket exchange will be open.

I’d say 700 from here could be an easy sell out should the club actively push the ticket sales through promotion.

Do the club only offer ticket exchanges for matches which are likely to sell-out? I'm not attending the Millwall match, and I can't see an option to exchange. There is an option available for me to exchange the Cardiff City Boxing Day match though...

Think its when there are about a 100 seats left available that the ticket exchange opens?

5.30pm update on Monday and there are now 649 home seats left (North Stand 73, East 51, South Upper 104 and South Lower 421).

That means there have been 60 sales in the past 24 hours (well 23 to be precise!) so the game still isn't selling at the rate needed to sell out.

Not sure if there is a hard and fast rule about when the ticket exchange becomes available but seems to have been when between 50-150 seats are left typically and don't think we will get down that low for this one. Best guess at this stage is that there will be about 250 seats unsold, meaning a crowd of around 11,200. A win tomorrow would make a difference though!

1.00pm update on Wednesday and there are now 546 seats left for the Millwall game on Saturday (North Stand 50, East Stand 42, South Upper 78, South Lower 376).

Three stands should be sold out (or very close) with just the South Lower likely to have a fair amount unsold. Still looks unlikely that ticket exchange will be in operation.

Hope the club really push this the next few days.

It’s a massive game before we have to away trips which are very close to selling out so only 1,100 Oxford fans will be at Plymouth & 1,600 at QPR.

Last chance for a lot of fans to see us in action before Sheffield Wednesday & Boxing Day onwards

1.15pm update on Friday and there are now 484 home seats available - North Stand 42, East 19, South Upper 129, South Lower 294.

Lot of additional seats released today in Block 9 of the South Stand Upper (strange that it’s so late) and hence why the total for that stand and overall has gone up rather than down.

Attendance likely to be around 11,000 mark.

9.00pm update on Friday and 449 home seats now available.

East Stand sold out
North Stand 35 seats left
South Stand Upper 138 seats left (including 30 prime new seats together opened up in central block 12 very late)
South Stand Lower 276
If you told us we’d be disappointed about not selling out a bog standard home league game in late November a year ago I’d take it

Thanks for the counting. Always interesting

I was there in my defence. But the more casual, less rough around the edges fan, may have been put off by their historical reputation.

That or recent results. Hopefully the Wednesday game on tge 14th will be back to a sell out.
I think it was a combination of unattractive opposition, who play an unattractive brand of football, recent results, and the 12:30 kick off.

If anyone didn’t go “because it was Millwall” I’d be interested to hear exactly why, and what they thought might happen?
