He looked under the pump in the first half and was deservedly booked. Apparently a graduate of the "kick first, kick second, kick third and f*ck asking questions later" school of defending. He settled down and held the line well after that though, and was a constant danger up front as well.

Thought he was shaky early but he dealt with their big striker well and grew into it
A few nice long passes but think he might not be the passer Moore is which with Brown who isn't great at passing either it could be a bit of a problem at times

I’d say (from one game only) the more balanced Huddersfield fans appear to be correct:

Given that he hadn't trained with his team mates, that was a very very good performance - which got better as he went on. By the end of the game he looked like ha had been playing for us for months. Bravo!

I think he played within himself, as it was his first game and the partnerships take time to build. But I liked what I saw.
However, I must mention that I noticed his big, black, four wheel drive Merc in the car park, and the amount of scuffing on the black alloys was alarming. I hope he is better at football than he is at parking his car!!!
